Homemade carrot cake for Patrick

Patrick loves carrot cake, he has ordered me to make and learn how to do it. However, I have found out from cousin that white carrot is very rare in KL, it means I do not have to make it? Then why I have to learn it? Maybe I can make it for Cassie and me when we are in HK.

B4 eating it, you need to cut it into pieces and fried, that is what Patrick likes most for breakfast or snack.

Actually white carrot/parsnip (I think) is not uncommon here in KL. My grandma makes it every other week when she get her hands on some. Maybe not so common at supermarket/hypermarket, but widely available at wet market.

I was thinking to bring it over from HK, maybe we can search round in the wet market. No need to carry two white carrot in the suitcase.

Is there any good 'black grass sheep'? The sheep with black colour skin in KL too? Want to make Sheep Pot for Patrick too.
