Aminocentesis was done on Monday (26 April 2010) with the company of Daddy Patrick in Dr Kung’s clinic. The process was painful, actually I should called it scary. I went in for around 15 minutes then it was done. Dr punched through a long thin needle through my belly and collected some yellow  liquid which was baby’s urine. When Dr punched the needle through, I could feel slight pain, like your hand was pinched by the needle but it was your belly. Stitch was the only word I could think of.

After the painful 15 minutes, Dr has collected 18 ml of urine from my tummy. The sample was sent to test for the 3 chromosomes and sex of the baby.

The nurse called today and told me that we have got a baby boy. I just cannot wait till he is born, then Patrick can have a baby boy to kick ball with after work. We have one boy and one girl which is perfect for our little family of four. Cassie will have a little brother and I will have a son coming. However, there is one thing that would not change, it is I will always love my girl very much, she is a star.
